Batting first, they suffered a double blow with an early run out and an injury forcing an early retirement. Steve White (84) helped get Hawridge to a reasonable score, with help from Charlie Barker (21) and Matthew Rutt (27), but wickets fell quickly, especially at the end, as they finished on 168-9.

They needed early wickets to stand a chance of victory, but instead the fielding let them down, with multiple catches dropped.

Four bowlers picked up a wicket each, but Lacey Green were always in control despite some great catches from White close in, and Rutt on the long on boundary, leaving Hawridge third but 21 behind second-placed Wendover in the race for promotion.
