Wild west fundraiser

RENNIE Grove Hospice Care will benefit from the support of a popular annual fair on Sunday.

And visitors to the Wild West themed Summer Fair and Craft Market at Missenden Abbey, London Road, will be invited to blow a bubble in memory of someone they miss.

2015 marks the 30th anniversary of the founding organisations that came together to form Rennie Grove, and the charity has a slot in the programme to thank the local community.

Rennie Grove director of fundraising and marketing, Gillian Barnett, said: “We couldn’t have cared for all the families who needed us without the support of the local community. This is a wonderful opportunity, not only to thank some of those people that have made it possible, but also to remember loved ones who are no longer with us. We hope it will be a moving experience and beautiful spectacle to see so many bubbles – each one representing someone special.”

Contact Missenden Abbey on 01494 866811 for more information.
