Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - SCHOOL REPORT -

A NATIONWIDE estate agency, which already has 38 teams throughout the UK, announced an expansion into Bucks on Friday (July 3).

Simon Roberts, managing director at Roberts Newby, is set to become equity partner at Strutt & Parker.

He said: “We regard joining Strutt & Parker as a fantastic opportunity that will combine our local expertise with its national and international coverage.

“My team has worked incredibly hard to establish Roberts Newby as a market-leading estate agency locally and,

EQUITY PARTNER: Simon Roberts coming together with Strutt & Parker, will complement two established and highlythought-of businesses, forging a very strong service proposition to our clients going forward.”

Andy Martin, senior partner at Strutt & Parker, said: “The acquisition of Roberts Newby represents a key part of our expansion strategy and will provide us with an expert team of agents who have an unrivalled understanding of south Buckinghamshire as the established number one agent in the region.

“We identified Roberts Newby as a business that shares our values and is committed to delivering the best service for buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords.”

Garry Brown, chairman of Business and Traders for Chalfont St Giles (BAT4CSG), said: “The ultimate aim for any business is to build it up and sell it.

“Mr Roberts is just playing the normal game. It’s good news and well done to Simon for building it up to that level.

“The amalgamation will make it much more streamlined, it opens up opportunities to his staff.

“It’s all good news all round and I’m very supportive, and we wish him all the luck.”
