A mid-in­nings wob­ble gave Barnes the scent of a chance of vic­tory, but Justin Weller (33) and Tom Mur­phy (21no) bat­ted sen­si­bly to take the score to 200 be­fore Ben Cross­ley en­joyed a cameo in­nings, hit­ting five fours in his 20no to earn Chal­font a draw.

The firsts also drew against NPL Teddington in Di­vi­sion 4a, while Che­nies & La­timer lost by nine wick­ets to Read­ing sec­onds in Di­vi­sion 3b and Bea­cons­field beat Stoke Green by three wick­ets in Di­vi­sion One.

Over in the Chiltern League,

(35) Chris Cross hit an un­beaten 152 be­fore tak­ing 5-11 as Chal­font St Giles thrashed White Waltham by 207 runs in Di­vi­sion One, while lead­ers Penn & Tylers Green were held to a draw by Wrays­bury, Den­ham lost to Bin­field by 69 runs and Great King­shill were de­feated by Taplow by 87 runs.

Coleshill went top of Di­vi­sion Two with a 117-run win over Taplow sec­onds, but Amer­sham Hill went down by two wick­ets to White Waltham sec­onds.

The Lee lost by 130 runs to Pin­ner in Di­vi­sion Three, while Di­vi­sion Four lead­ers Winch­more Hill were held to a draw by Pin­ner sec­onds.
