Sisters get on their bikes and ride
AN INAUGURAL women’s bike ride which took place on Saturday (July 4) went off with a bang as the organiser hopes to encourage more of us to get out there enjoy all the benefits bike riding brings.
The Change4Chalfont Cycling Sisters bike ride took off from the Chiltern Bike Barn, Market Place, at 11am around an approximate eight mile circuit before finishing in the centre of the village.
Roland Collicott, who organised the event, said: “This was the first trip for the Change4Chalfont Cycling Sisters.
“While we didn’t get a huge turnout, there were a lot of people interested who are keen to come next time. Everyone enjoyed the Chiltern lanes from Chalfont St Peter, through Seer Green and Chalfont St Giles, and some people hadn’t ridden them before. They can’t wait for the next one.”
