A full house for cycling festival
ACYCLING festival was a ‘buzzing’ success. The GE Chiltern Cycling Festival was held in Penn House, Penn Street on Sunday and featured different cycling events, including a hill climb and a vintage ride, as well as a fair with stalls.
Organiser Nick O’Brien said: “It was excellent, we were delighted, we had a full house. The number of riders were up on last year, 1,200 in the various events and there were also more visitors, over 3,000. It worked well with the setting of Penn House, it was a very relaxed place to have it, a beautiful setting, it is one of Chiltern’s secrets.”
