Chamber members is a spin at feast
THE LOCAL Chamber of Commerce took part in a huge neighbourhood festival recently by running a human fruit machine stall.
The stall was held at Feast Day, on Saturday June 27, on Goldhill Common, Chalfont St Peter, to promote local businesses who provided prizes for the winners and to raise money for the provision and maintenance of the village flags, hanging baskets and Christmas lights.
The Fruit Machine raised £234 towards the street decorations fund.
President of the Chamber of Commerce, Andrew Welch, said: “The Chalfont St Peter Chamber of Commerce is growing in strength all the time with an increase in recent weeks of 10% in membership.
“We raised over £12,000 for the CSP street decorations in 2014 and were able to expand the scope and improve them.
“We were delighted to have so much support from traders at Feast
