Thanks for hard work in our village
THROUGH your pages may I congratulate and thank the team from Bucks County Council for all the work they have done recently to maintain the grass verges in Chalfont St Giles and along the A413.
The village was starting to look totally unkempt and unloved and when that happens the incidences of litter dropping and graffiti seem to rise.
I am sure that it is partly thanks to the maintenance of overgrown areas by BCC, together with the litter picking and weeding of the village centre by members of the Parish Council and the wider community during June, that we have been awarded joint runners up in the Best Kept Village competition 2015.
