All aboard for an unforgettable prom night in London

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - SCHOOL REPORT -

BY Beth Walker, 18, year 13 student at Chesham Grammar School CHESHAM Grammar School’s Year 13 Prom was held on the evening of June 22 on board a boat travelling along the River Thames. After an unsettled start to the day we were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful weather and make use of the fabulous sundeck on board the boat, allowing us to view the fabulous sights of London, including the London Eye, the 02 arena, Tower Bridge and many more famous landmarks.

On board the boat we enjoyed a buffet dinner, along with a pick ‘n’ mix sweet table.

We also hired a photo booth and a DJ played, keeping the dance floor full all evening. As the sun went down everyone was treated to a spectacular, surprise firework display, lighting up the sky of London.

Prom was a fantastic way to end our school years together and is certainly a night that will be remembered.
