Teen charged with multiple offences
THAMES Valley Police has charged a 16-year-old boy from Beaconsfield with arson, handling stolen goods and witness intimidation.
The boy was arrested on May 28 and charged on Saturday (July 18) with one count of arson, one of handling stolen goods, one of conspiring to commit witness intimidation and two counts of witness intimidation.
The charges relate to an alleged incident of arson to a garden shed on the A355 Amersham Road, Beaconsfield on 18 May and the alleged handling of stolen goods following a burglary at Burgess Wood Road South, Beaconsfield.
The alleged witness intimidation relates to threatening messages on Facebook, the approach of a witness in a public place and an alleged plan to throw a brick through the window of a witness. The boy was bailed to appear at High Wycombe Youth Court on August 8.
