Teen charged with mul­ti­ple of­fences

THAMES Val­ley Po­lice has charged a 16-year-old boy from Bea­cons­field with ar­son, han­dling stolen goods and wit­ness in­tim­i­da­tion.

The boy was ar­rested on May 28 and charged on Satur­day (July 18) with one count of ar­son, one of han­dling stolen goods, one of con­spir­ing to com­mit wit­ness in­tim­i­da­tion and two counts of wit­ness in­tim­i­da­tion.

The charges re­late to an al­leged in­ci­dent of ar­son to a gar­den shed on the A355 Amer­sham Road, Bea­cons­field on 18 May and the al­leged han­dling of stolen goods fol­low­ing a bur­glary at Burgess Wood Road South, Bea­cons­field.

The al­leged wit­ness in­tim­i­da­tion re­lates to threat­en­ing mes­sages on Face­book, the ap­proach of a wit­ness in a public place and an al­leged plan to throw a brick through the win­dow of a wit­ness. The boy was bailed to ap­pear at High Wy­combe Youth Court on Au­gust 8.
