Po­lice ap­peal af­ter at­tack

AN 18-year-old suf­fered a frac­tured skull af­ter he was as­saulted two weeks ago.

The man was re­peat­edly punched and kicked by a group of five or six men at about 11.30pm on Pack­horse Road, in Ger­rards Cross, af­ter they started shout­ing abuse at his girl­friend.

He was taken to Wex­ham Park Hos­pi­tal, in Slough and has since been dis­charged.

The group were wear­ing track­suits, with one mem­ber wear­ing a grey track­suit and white Nike train­ers and car­ry­ing a black Nike satchel bag

The po­lice are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion.

In­ves­ti­gat­ing of­fi­cer, Det Con Steve West, of force CID based at Ayles­bury po­lice sta­tion, said: “There was a fair on the West Com­mon and the group of of­fend­ers were walk­ing from that di­rec­tion. There­fore it is pos­si­ble the of­fend­ers had come from the fair.
