‘They knew they shouldn’t be buying us drinks or feeding us drugs, they knew that’

THE victim of a Bucks child sex grooming gang has said she can now move forward with her life after six of the men were found guilty.

The female, who cannot be named for legal reasons and was known as Girl B throughout the trial has spoken out following the verdicts. She said: “I’d leave in the morning in my school uniform and I’d come home at three in the morning in my school uniform.

“These men knew our age. No girl should ever feel that they have to use their body or what they’ve got as their selling point.

“They knew they shouldn’t be buying us drinks and feeding us drugs, they knew that.

“The relief that they have been found guilty, you feel it’s such a weight off your shoulders.

“You know you can get on with your life now. That burden that is at the front of your mind and the back of your mind is gone.

“You can definitely move on and forward.

“I can now turn that around and use it as a positive and something that is going to help tackle that thing from happening in the future.”
