In­quest de­layed

AN IN­QUEST into the death of a man who worked for Royal Mail in Ger­rards Cross for ten years has been post­poned while the Crown Pros­e­cu­tion Ser­vice (CPS) con­tin­ues to look at the case.

Peter Ginn, 50, died on Jan­uary 20 af­ter his Suzuki mo­tor­bike was in col­li­sion with a car on the A4020 near Den­ham.

At a pre-in­quest hear­ing on Tues­day morn­ing, Sgt Graeme Hughes said po­lice are due meet with the Crown Pros­e­cu­tion Ser­vice on Septem­ber 16.

Buck­ing­hamshire coro­ner Richard Hulett said: “I’m wait­ing to dis­cover if there’s go­ing to be a pros­e­cu­tion or what is hap­pen­ing.”

Mr Hulett said the in­quest will be held af­ter the re­sult of the meet­ing is known.
