Labour deputy can­di­date states her case

A CAN­DI­DATE for the Labour Party's deputy lead­er­ship has vis­ited Amer­sham to speak to party sup­port­ers sup­port­ers.

MP Stella Creasy spoke at an open meet­ing in Amer­sham's Com­mu­nity Cen­tre's Barn Hall.

Sec­re­tary of the Che­sham and Amer­sham Labour Party, Peter Ward, said: “Stella, MP for Waltham­stow, came to at­ten­tion at the head of a very suc­cess­ful cam­paign against pay­day lenders and online ha­rass­ment.

“She promised her full sup­port for who­ever won the bal­lot for the na­tional lead­er­ship.

“The crowded meet­ing, or­gan­ised by the Che­sham and Amer­sham con­stituency Labour Party, was also at­tended by new af­fil­i­ates for the bal­lot­ing and by the public.”
