CDOG SHOW: ROWDS welcomed the Queen of the Great British Bake Off to a village fete.
Mary Berry opened the 155th Hazlemere fete on Monday, August 31.
One of the organisers, Bob Digby, said: “We couldn’t count on the weather, but crowds still came out for Mary. People loved it, the magic moment was the look on the children’s faces when they asked Mary to sign their cook books.
“The fete is about community cohesion, organised by the community for the community.”
Around 2,000 people came to the fair, which was raising funds for various charities.
