Join the Bucks Scoop School for kids up to and in­clud­ing the age of 13, and you will have the op­por­tu­nity to be our very new­shounds by send­ing in ar­ti­cles, jokes, photos, po­ems, sto­ries, letters and art­work, which could be pub­lished in the pa­per or online – it a re­port of a sports match, a film or book re­view, maybe you have the fastest ham­ster, most talk­a­tive par­rot or a su­per gran you need to tell the world about? We will pub­lish some of the most in­ter­est­ing sto­ries each week.

Send your ar­ti­cles to us by email­ing ros.collins@trin­i­tymir­ror.com or post­ing them to Bucks Scoop School, Stoke Mill, Wok­ing Road, Guild­ford, Sur­rey, GU1 1QA.

As part of your mem­ber­ship we will also an­nounce your birth­day on the Scoop School page, pub­lished ev­ery Thurs­day. Those cel­e­brat­ing their first birth­day will re­ceive a birth­day card, while mem­bers aged be­tween two and five years will re­ceive a voucher for the soft play frame at The Stay and Play in Che­sham. We are cur­rently look­ing for a spon­sor to pro­vide a birth­day treat for mem­bers aged six to 13. Mem­ber­ship is free and you will re­ceive a mem­ber­ship card printed with your per­sonal num­ber. Check out the Scoop School ev­ery week for the chance to win com­pe­ti­tion prizes such as toys, games, DVDs, books and fam­ily tick­ets to theme parks and chil­dren’s shows. What’s more, kids’ books are up for grabs for the first 10 ap­pli­ca­tion forms we re­ceive for in­di­vid­u­als to join the Scoop School. Books will be given out on an age-ap­pro­pri­ate ba­sis, and the first mem­ber will also re­ceive one book as well as a cer­tifi­cate and the op­por­tu­nity to have his/her pic­ture in the pa­per if he/she wishes. Don’t de­lay, write away.

Terms and Con­di­tions: The first 10 mem­bers who join will each re­ceive one book suit­able for his or her age. The very first mem­ber to join will also re­ceive a cer­tifi­cate plus the op­por­tu­nity to have his or her pic­ture in the pa­per. Em­ploy­ees of Trin­ity Mir­ror South­ern Ltd and their fam­i­lies are not el­i­gi­ble to win. The judge’s de­ci­sion is fi­nal and no cor­re­spon­dence will be en­tered into.
