Outstanding result for Lovel End
LOVEL End Nursery, based in Chalfont St Peter, has been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted in the nursery’s latest official government inspection.
It retained its rating across all assessment areas after showing ‘an exceptional range of highquality learning experiences for children’.
The inspection, which took place in early July and has just been made public, was one of the first to be carried out to new, more stringent inspection criteria.
The Ofsted report said: “The quality across the nursery is outstanding. All staff provide an exceptional range of highquality learning experiences for children both indoors and outdoors. As result, children are highly motivated and eager to learn and explore.
“All children, including those who have special educational needs and/or disabilities, make excellent progress in all areas of their learning and development.”
Nursery manager Debbie Thompson, said: “We’re delighted that Ofsted has recognised the commitment and hard work of our entire team, including our children and parents.
“Lovel End Nursery prides itself on its safe and caring environment that gives young children the best possible start to their education.
“With Ofsted recently changing the way it does
a its inspections, Outstanding rating harder than ever achieve.
“So this result is great news for everyone associated with the Nursery, and for children and parents who will become part of our team in the coming years.” Ofsted recently announced far-reaching changes to its inspections, designed to further support schools with more frequent visits and closer inspections.
The changes came about as a result of the government consultation “Better inspection for all”.
