A MUSICALLY talented teenager has landed a record deal.

Lucy Mair, 17, of Chesham has a deal with the Oxfordshirebased label, BFS Records, and her first single, The Fool, has recently been released.

The teenager often performs at open mic nights in London and played at Waddesdon Manor Chilli Festival.

Lucy said: “I grew up surrounded by music, my whole family is quite musical, my dad was a songwriter.

“I like lyrics and I like it when they tell a story, I like Ed Sheeran and Billy Holiday.

“I like performing, but it does depend on the audience. I was really happy to be given a record deal, they are very supportive and they are a really good first step. They get me as many gigs as they can.”
