VOLUNTEER groups gathered together for a special Chesham event. Volunteer Chesham was held on Saturday at Chesham Town Hall.

Chesham town mayor Peter Hudson said: “Chesham is built on volunteering and yet many people are unaware of the variety and sheer number of local voluntary organisations that do so much for our town.

“It was great to give people a chance to find out more about Chesham’s voluntary organisations and intelligently match people who wished to volunteer, no matter how much time they are able to commit. With so many exhibitors, there really was something for everyone.”

Around 200 people
