Get vocal with choir

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - COMMUNITY NEWS -

AMATEUR singers are invited to come along and test out their vocal skills in the South Bucks Choral Society.

Led by Iain Ledingham, professor at the Royal Academy of Music, the choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings in Chalfont St Peter.

Performing four times a year, the main concerts are in November and April, both with a professional orchestra and soloists from the Royal Academy.

There is

also a

carol concert at Christmas and a summer concert in June.

A choir of about 100 singers, it was established more than 30 years ago.

Sopranos and tenors are especially needed at present, so an extra special welcome would be extended to you if you were one.

Our upcoming programme includes Beethoven's Mass in C and Brahms Requiem.

Contact southbucks choral@btinternet.com or Gwenda McInnes on 01494 433 013 for more information.
