Edda gives talk about near fa­tal heart at­tack

A WOMAN who left Ham­burg for Ger­rards Cross 15 years ago will be giv­ing a talk called ‘When Time Stood Still’, de­scrib­ing a near fa­tal car­diac ar­rest she suf­fered last year.

Edda and Christoph Lind­ner, who have been mar­ried for 21 years and have a back­ground in teach­ing, be­came Bri­tish cit­i­zens hav­ing moved to Bucks in 2000.

They both took up jobs at St James Church, Ox­ford Road, but in Oc­to­ber last year they were lead­ing a con­fer­ence at the church when Edda suf­fered a sud­den car­diac ar­rest.

The cou­ple will be talk­ing about what hap­pened at the Saint James Cen­tre on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 24 at 9.30am, with crèche avail­able, and at Wild­wood res­tau­rant, West Com­mon, on Sun­day, Septem­ber 27 at 10.15am. Ad­mis­sion is free. Con­tact 01753 883 311 for more in­for­ma­tion.
