SKIPTON Building Society in Chesham is opening its doors to actively welcome customers of the four legged kind into its branches.

As part of a new ‘dogs allowed’ policy, customers are able to bring their trusty companions into branch with them.

Customer Christopher Burley who lives in Chesham, switched to Skipton Building Society as soon as he found out how dog friendly the society is.

Mr Burley’s canine companion is a 13-yearold French bulldog called Jody.

She is blind due to an illness and relies on Mr Burley to be her guide human. It’s essential that Jody is with him wherever he goes.

Mr Burley said: “When I was turned away from another building society for trying to take Jody in with me, I decided to give Skipton Building Society a try. I was delighted that not only was I allowed to take Jody inside the branch with me, but that we were both offered a drink.”
