Clubbing to­gether for fundrais­ing

Mem­bers of Moor Park Golf Club raised funds for char­ity Lit­tle Chal­font has been us­ing his year of cap­taincy to raise funds for the as­so­ci­a­tion, af­ter a friend and fel­low mem­ber of the club was di­ag­nosed with the con­di­tion.

Paul said: “I wanted to use my cap­taincy year to raise money for a char­ity that can make a real dif­fer­ence to lives of peo­ple it sup­ports. The PSP As­so­ci­a­tion needs funds to en­able re­search into new treat­ments to stop, or at least slow down, the pro­gres­sion of the con­di­tion.”

Com­mu­ni­ca­tions man­ager at The PSP As­so­ci­a­tion, Paula McGrath, said: “What an amaz­ing to­tal raised to date. A huge thank you to club mem­bers for their gen­er­ous sup­port, it is much ap­pre­ci­ated as we rely en­tirely on vol­un­tary do­na­tions to fund our vi­tal work.”

Moor Park Golf Club CEO, David Cook added: “Our mem­bers are renowned for the gen­er­ous sup­port they give their cap­tain's char­ity. The PSP As­so­ci­a­tion is a fan­tas­tic char­ity that the whole club has got be­hind. We hope to raise much more dur­ing Paul's year as cap­tain.”
