Clubbing together for fundraising
Members of Moor Park Golf Club raised funds for charity Little Chalfont has been using his year of captaincy to raise funds for the association, after a friend and fellow member of the club was diagnosed with the condition.
Paul said: “I wanted to use my captaincy year to raise money for a charity that can make a real difference to lives of people it supports. The PSP Association needs funds to enable research into new treatments to stop, or at least slow down, the progression of the condition.”
Communications manager at The PSP Association, Paula McGrath, said: “What an amazing total raised to date. A huge thank you to club members for their generous support, it is much appreciated as we rely entirely on voluntary donations to fund our vital work.”
Moor Park Golf Club CEO, David Cook added: “Our members are renowned for the generous support they give their captain's charity. The PSP Association is a fantastic charity that the whole club has got behind. We hope to raise much more during Paul's year as captain.”
