LIT­TLE Hay Golf Club’s Chris Mars­den was crowned over­all se­nior ladies cham­pion at the NAPGC Se­niors Fi­nals at West Mid­dle­sex GC last Wed­nes­day.

Mars­den (pic­tured) also took sec­ond place in the pairs with ith Li Lin­dad R Reeve, and again, on 38 points, in Lit­tle Hay’s own Ladies’ Au­tumn Fruit Bowl, which was won by ladies’ cap­tain Dor­cas Kindinger on 39, while Les­lie Quinn was third with 37.

Mars­den then came third in the ladies com­pe­ti­tion at Lit­tle Hay’s an­nual Pres­i­dent Day, where Bobby Barnes emerged as the ladies win­ner with an ex­cel­lent score of 39 points, which put her ahead of Caro­line Banks on 38 and Mars­den on 37.

Jerry Clarke tri­umphed in the men’s com­pe­ti­tion with 37 points on count back from Phil Ch­ester, with Paul Mudd tak­ing third on 36, while the ju­niors’ win­ner was Craig Walker with 39 points, fol­lowed by Luke Wrathall in sec­ond on 36 and Emma Shep­herd in third with 32. Men’s Septem­ber Medal: Div One – 1. Ash­ley Wade nett 66; 2. Wayne Grif­fin nett 67; 3. Mick Whe­lan nett 70 ocb. Div Two – 1. Trevor V, Sar­gent nett 69; 2. Chris Miles nett 70; 3. Bo Ho nett 71.
