TTHE martians are coming to Windsor R Racecourse this autumn with a fi fireworks spectacular designed to th thrill.
Following the success of Warhorse la last year, the racecourse will be staging a unique open air music and fireworks p production of The War of the Worlds w with narration by Liam Neeson.
Set to Jeff Wayne’s multimillionselling musical version of the famous H G Wells sci-fi thriller, the show will feature amazing fireworks and special effects, including a 30ft high Martian and its deadly heat ray.
Narrating this iconic story will be the unmistakable voice of actor Liam Neeson, who recorded it in Jeff Wayne’s latest version, taking over the role made famous by Richard Burton.
Best known for movies including Schindler’s List and the Taken series, Liam Neeson tells of the Earth’s invasion by Martians and how our civilisation was only saved by bacteria.
The display will be held at the racecourse on Saturday November 7 and crowds will be entertained with a fabulous fireworks display, courtesy of Hertfordshire-based Fantastic Fireworks which is celebrating its 30th birthday this year.
This will be more than just fireworks, however, with exciting props, aliens and space ships creating a fantastical version of War of the
