Giant veg impress judges at the annual horticultural show
GIGANTIC vegetables, fabulous flowers, tasty treats and more were on offer at a horticultural group’s annual show.
Chartridge Horticultural Society held its Autumn Show on Sunday, September 13 at Chartridge Reading Rooms.
The Autumn Show is one the society’s largest events and it featured giant cabbages and dahlias, to sunny flowers and tasty cakes and jams.
The society’s secretary Margaret Curle said: “The standard of entries was very high in all classes.”
