Councillor’s property businesses up for awards
A BUSINESS owned by a Chalfont St Peter parish councillor has received a property industry award nomination, dubbed the ‘Oscars of residential property’.
Integra Property Services, owned by Mike Day, has been nominated for Supplier of the Year in the Professional Support category at the Negotiator Awards 2015.
His other business, traceWise, of which Mr Day is a director and shareholder, has also received a nomination in the same awards, in the Supplier of the Year Services and Products category.
The awards are organised by The Negotiator magazine, an estate and lettings agents industry publication.
Hosted by impressionist and TV star Alistair McGowan, the prize-giving will be held at the London Hilton, in Park Lane, on November 3.
Mr Day said: “I’ve no idea whether I’m going
NOMINATIONS: Mike Day, owner of Integra Property Services to win or not. Obviously I’m delighted to be shortlisted, but whether it goes any further than that, who knows?
“But I think I’ve got a reasonable chance.
“It’s always nice because my clients are the sort of agents who are good enough to win awards and that reflects nicely on me.
“I’m a one man band type of business and I’m up against some huge companies.”
Integra won awards in The Estas – another industry award – in 2006, 2008 and 2012, and traceWise won an award at the Sunday Times Letting Agency awards in 2014.
Mr Day is also one of the main organisers behind Chalfont St Peter’s Feast Day, held every summer on the Feast of St Peter.
