Re­tire­ment vil­lage’s new man­ager

THE LUX­URY re­tire­ment vil­lage Aud­ley Chal­font Dene, Chal­font St Peter, has ap­pointed a new vil­lage man­ager ahead of wel­com­ing the first own­ers at the end of 2015.

Richard Petrik will be re­spon­si­ble for the day-to-day run­ning of the vil­lage and will be the main point of con­tact for all own­ers.

Petrik brings 15 years’ ex­pe­ri­ence in the hos­pi­tal­ity in­dus­try. He spent five years at the ho­tel group De Vere, pro­gress­ing from food and bev­er­age man­ager to oper­a­tions man­ager, dur­ing which he was se­lected for the De Vere Academy on both the Fu­ture Man­age­ment Stars and later the Se­nior Man­age­ment de­vel­op­ment pro­gramme. He left De Vere in 2013 to join Qho­tels as oper­a­tions man­ager where he was in­stru­men­tal in the ho­tel group win­ning AA ho­tel group of the year.

Mr Petrik said: “I’m in­cred­i­bly proud to be Aud­ley Chal­font Dene’s first Vil­lage Man­ager and I’m look­ing for­ward to grow­ing the rest of the team and watch­ing the vil­lage come to life. My on­go­ing role will al­low me to bring that 5* ser­vice to all of our new own­ers once the vil­lage is up and run­ning.”

The lux­ury re­tire­ment vil­lage is near Chal­font St Peter and once com­plete will con­sist of 84 prop­er­ties de­signed to re­flect the tra­di­tional arts and crafts build char­ac­ter of the Chilterns.
