Retirement village’s new manager
THE LUXURY retirement village Audley Chalfont Dene, Chalfont St Peter, has appointed a new village manager ahead of welcoming the first owners at the end of 2015.
Richard Petrik will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the village and will be the main point of contact for all owners.
Petrik brings 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He spent five years at the hotel group De Vere, progressing from food and beverage manager to operations manager, during which he was selected for the De Vere Academy on both the Future Management Stars and later the Senior Management development programme. He left De Vere in 2013 to join Qhotels as operations manager where he was instrumental in the hotel group winning AA hotel group of the year.
Mr Petrik said: “I’m incredibly proud to be Audley Chalfont Dene’s first Village Manager and I’m looking forward to growing the rest of the team and watching the village come to life. My ongoing role will allow me to bring that 5* service to all of our new owners once the village is up and running.”
The luxury retirement village is near Chalfont St Peter and once complete will consist of 84 properties designed to reflect the traditional arts and crafts build character of the Chilterns.
