Mo­tor­cy­clist killed af­ter car col­li­sion

A MO­TOR­CY­CLIST has died af­ter be­ing in­volved in a col­li­sion with a car.

The col­li­sion hap­pened on the A4155 Hen­ley Road in Mar­low at about 1.45pm on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 4 and in­volved a black Suzuki GSXR mo­tor­cy­cle and a sil­ver Toy­ota Aven­sis.

The 30-year-old mo­tor­cy­clist was part of a group of riders trav­el­ling to­wards Mar­low.

Just be­fore they reached the town the group turned left into a sin­gle track, un­named road, but one rider failed to make the turn and the col­li­sion with the Aven­sis oc­curred.

The mo­tor­cy­clist died at the scene and his next of kin has been in­formed. No-one else was in­jured. PC Mike Ell­yard, from Amer­sham Roads Polic­ing Unit, would like to hear from any­one who wit­nessed the col­li­sion or saw ei­ther of the ve­hi­cles be­fore it hap­pened.
