Car crash vic­tim ‘loved by all who knew him’

Par­ents pay lov­ing trib­ute

“Our pre­cious son Jeremy loved, and was loved by, all who knew him. He will al­ways be our sun­shine, loved dearly. Shine on sun­shine.

“Jeremy at­tended Sir Thomas Fre­man­tle School in Winslow where pupils are be­ing sup­ported by staff to help them come to terms with the loss of their friend. Jeremy had his whole life in front of him and his tragic death has been felt through­out the com­mu­nity.”

Jeremy was a pas­sen­ger in a Vaux­hall Corsa and died at the scene. The fe­male driver of the car was taken to hospi­tal with se­ri­ous in­juries.

The 27-year-old male driver of the other ve­hi­cle, a grey VW Golf, has been ar­rested on sus­pi­cion of caus­ingdeath­by­dan­ger­ous driv­ing.
