Denham’s 11-0 demolition job
KAYLEIGH Currivan and Jessica Stickley both hit four for Denham United Ladies U15s in an emphatic 11-0 win over Ascot.
Charlotte Parrett weighed in with a brace and Julia Thurauf also got in on the act as the back three of Annie Walsh , Gina Lee and Chloe Smith managed to keep the visitors out at the other end.
Denham’s U14s are safely through the the semi-finals of the League Cup after knocking out Hoddesdon with a 4-1 triumph in Hertfordshire.
Goals were scored by Alisha Bajwa, Shania Foley, Jess Fitzgerald and Naomi Hickey, who neeted on her debut, with Holly Symons, Niamh Reynolds and Nicole Leys also impressing.
The U13s are also through to the next round of the cup after a 2-0 victory over Bishop’s Stortford thanks to two strikes from Grace Nwoseh. And there was also a win for the U12s who beat Hampstead 1-0 courtesy of Tara Jhwer’s effort.
Denham United Ladies’ first-team suffered a 1-0 reverse to Fulham Foundation while the reserves enjoyed a 4-0 win at Alexandra Park thanks to one from Megan Payne and a Charlie-Leigh Dixon hattrick. Amy Martins notched twice in a 7-2 loss for the seniordevelopmentagainst Crystal Road.
