‘Great service for clients brings us job satisfaction’
THE lettings team at Tim Russ in Beaconsfield love the variety of their work:“Nothing beats the buzz of our busy lettings department where no two days are the same,” explained lettings negotiator Sue Withey.“I can't imagine enjoying any other kind of job as the variety and stimulation keeps me on my toes and I love the people contact.”
Lettings director Kathi Taylor agreed:“One of the best aspects of my job is meeting prospective landlords and winning instructions. I get great job satisfaction from the level of loyalty and repeat business gained over many years spent in the lettings industry. We also build close working relationships with our tenants over time which is very rewarding,” said Kathi.
“We often have calls and emails from satisfied customers and can't help blowing our own trumpets from time to time. Mrs S F, renting a three bedroom semi in Hazlemere was delighted to have her oven fixed within two hours of reporting it to us. ‘Superstar service – yet again', she wrote.
“We had a very speedy turnaround on a two bedroom cottage in Old Town Close which we manage. The landlord, Mrs S C, was absolutely delighted with the standard of professional clean and the garden maintenance given the time span between tenancies. Needless to say, the tenants were thrilled when they moved in.‘Kathy and team, thanks a million'.
“One of our longstanding landlords, who has always let her property in Beaconsfield with us, had reason to say, recently to Kathi: 'I agree with you that Sue is a star and always so supportive and thorough. I really value both yours and Sue's guidance'.
“Mr SL, a tenant who has just rented a property on Station Road was impressed and said:‘say, thank you to Justine, who was extremely helpful and informative during our second visit to the flat'.
“Mr A C, who has now moved reluctantly out of the area after four years in Pinehurst Court emailed us to say that his new letting agents in Northampton couldn't be recommend:‘However,Tim Russ have been amazing and I will gladly give you and the Tim Russ Lettings team a testimonial or reference – all you need to do is ask,'” added Kathi.
She recalls:“I wrote to Mr A L who let his property in Lawnswood through us for many years before selling to another landlord who retained us, thanking him for his loyalty and longstanding business. He wrote back saying:‘I've enjoyed it too, and still gratefully remember your generosity in sponsoring my expedition last year. I'll let you know when I'm about to set off on my next trek!'”
Sue said:“Sometimes we lose a client when they decide to sell their property but our commitment to customer service never lapses. Monica M, an overseas landlord, was full of compliments for Kathi who dealt with all aspects of the outgoing tenancy and eased the transition for new ownership.‘We cannot thank you enough for managing our home and going the extra mile' she said.”
“So, it's not just about getting the fees in, we genuinely care about what we do and this reflects in the positive feedback we get from our lovely customers. We can't help but gloat about it!”
