Focus on women embroiled in conflict
A MUSICIAN and poet will perform the show, Woman in War: in their own words.
Paula Tait will perform her show at the Amersham Quaker Meeting House, Whielden Street on Sunday, November 15.
In the course of the performance, Ms Tait will play the harp, guitar, Finnish kantele, Vietnamese gong and other instruments.
The words come from women embroiled in 20th and 21st century conflicts in Vietnam, Nicaragua, Liberia and Europe, as well as others.
It will focus on how women are affected by war, bringing to life the poetry and stories of those caught up in conflicts and violence. The performance will be held at 2.30pm until 3.45pm and will be followed by tea and cake.
It is free admission, costs to be met by donations.
