Bea­cons­field War Me­mo­rial, Wind­sor End Bea­cons­field churches will be hold­ing a ser­vice at the me­mo­rial which will be at­tended by dif­fer­ent town groups and or­gan­i­sa­tions.

Bea­cons­field War Me­mo­rial. Bea­cons­field schools will be at­tend­ing a ser­vice at the war me­mo­rial be­fore lay­ing wreaths at the site.

CHAL­FONT ST GILES Sun­day Novem­ber 8 from 10am

Ser­vice in the Par­ish Church, High Street, for adults, in­clud­ing mem­bers of the Royal Bri­tish Le­gion. There will be a two minute si­lence and a lay­ing of wreaths at the War Me­mo­rial, High Street, out­side the Read­ing Room, with mem­bers of the uni­formed or­gan­i­sa­tions, in­clud­ing scouts and guides, at 11am. They will then head into the church for a ser­vice at 11.30am.

CHAL­FONT ST PE­TER Sun­day, Novem­ber 8 from 2.15pm

Peo­ple are meet­ing at Chal­font Leisure Cen­tre, Ni­col Road, be­fore a pa­rade up to St Pe­ter’s Par­ish Church, Church Lane, led by the Che­sham All Girls’ Band, for a ser­vice at 3pm.

CHE­SHAM Sun­day, Novem­ber 8 from 10.45am

War Me­mo­rial, The Broad­way This year’s Re­mem­brance Day Pa­rade, led by Che­sham Royal Bri­tish Le­gion, will lead off from Vic­to­ria Road at 10.45am and will march through Queen’s Road, Broad Street and the High Street to the War Me­mo­rial in The Broad­way for a short ser­vice and wreath lay­ing cer­e­mony.

War Me­mo­rial, The Broad­way Armistice Day ser­vice at the War Me­mo­rial in The Broad­way at 11am, or­gan­ised by Che­sham Royal Bri­tish Le­gion.

St Mary’s Church, Vil­lage Road. There will be a short ser­vice in­side the church fol­lowed by a wreath and poppy lay­ing cer­e­mony.

GER­RARDS CROSS Sun­day, Novem­ber 8, from 10.40am

Ger­rards Cross Me­mo­rial Cen­tre, East Com­mon Peo­ple will meet at 10.40am for a ser­vice, in­clud­ing a minute’s si­lence and the lay­ing of wreaths. Vet­er­ans, the Bri­tish Royal Le­gion and the scouts band will also be there.

Ger­rards Cross Methodist Church, Oak End Way. The church is hold­ing a ser­vice led by Ma­jor Mar­garet Scott of the Sal­va­tion Army.


St Pe­ter’s and St Paul’s Church, Church Lane Peo­ple will gather out­side St Pe­ter’s and St Paul’s Church at 10.50am for a two-minute si­lence, then move in­side for a ser­vice.

Prest­wood In­fant School, Moat Lane Holy Trin­ity will host the ser­vice from 9.30am fol­lowed by a two-minute si­lence and lay­ing of wreaths at the war me­mo­rial in the church­yard at 11am. Cof­fee will be served in the church hall af­ter­wards.

SEER GREEN Sun­day, Novem­ber 8, 10am

Ju­bilee Hall, School Lane There will be a Re­mem­brance Sun­day Ser­vice in Ju­bilee Hall from 10am.

STOKE POGES Sun­day, Novem­ber 8, 10.50am - 12pm

St Giles Church, Church Lane A ser­vice of re­mem­brance at the church, at­tended by vil­lage groups. Wreath lay­ing will also take place.

THE LEE Sun­day, Novem­ber 8 from 10am

Ser­vice at St John the Bap­tist Church from 10am. This will be fol­lowed by a ser­vice, wreath lay­ing and a minute’s si­lence at the war me­mo­rial on The Lee Green.
