Teen arrested over shooting
A TEENAGER has been arrested in connection with last month’s shooting in Burnham.
A 19-year-old man from Slough was arrested on Tuesday, November 3 on suspicion of attempted murder.
He has been released on police bail until Monday, November 30.
The arrests are in connection with an incident in Burnham Park on Sunday, October 25 in which two boys, one aged 15 and the other aged 17, were discovered with injuries believed to have been caused by discharged firearm.
Neither of the victims had life threatening injuries, although the 15-year-old’s injuries were said to be ‘serious.’ The 17-year-old has leg injuries.
Both victims are still recovering from their injuries.
Two teenage girls, aged 15 and 17, both from Slough, have also been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
An 18-year-old from Slough, a 24-year-old man, an 18-year-old and a 15-year-old boy, all from
a Burnham were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on October 27 but they were released without charge on October 29.
Thames Valley Police is continuing to investigate the incident and anyone with information which could assist the investigation can call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
