Teen ar­rested over shoot­ing

A TEENAGER has been ar­rested in con­nec­tion with last month’s shoot­ing in Burn­ham.

A 19-year-old man from Slough was ar­rested on Tues­day, Novem­ber 3 on sus­pi­cion of at­tempted mur­der.

He has been re­leased on po­lice bail un­til Mon­day, Novem­ber 30.

The ar­rests are in con­nec­tion with an in­ci­dent in Burn­ham Park on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 25 in which two boys, one aged 15 and the other aged 17, were dis­cov­ered with in­juries be­lieved to have been caused by dis­charged firearm.

Nei­ther of the vic­tims had life threat­en­ing in­juries, al­though the 15-year-old’s in­juries were said to be ‘se­ri­ous.’ The 17-year-old has leg in­juries.

Both vic­tims are still re­cov­er­ing from their in­juries.

Two teenage girls, aged 15 and 17, both from Slough, have also been ar­rested on sus­pi­cion of pos­ses­sion of a firearm.

An 18-year-old from Slough, a 24-year-old man, an 18-year-old and a 15-year-old boy, all from

a Burn­ham were ar­rested on sus­pi­cion of at­tempted mur­der on Oc­to­ber 27 but they were re­leased with­out charge on Oc­to­ber 29.
