Road collision deaths service
PEOPLE who have lost family members and friends in road collisions in Thames Valley will commemorate their lives at a special service this weekend.
Thames Valley Police has organised the service to take place on Sunday, November 15 at St Mary the Virgin Church, in Thame, at 3pm.
Police officers, fire and rescue workers and ambulance technicians will give readings and prayers during the service.
Family members will be invited to take part in an Act of Commemoration, which will be led by The Bishop of Dorchester, The Right Reverend Colin Fletcher.
Chief Constable Francis Habgood said: “The Road Death Memorial Service provides great comfort for those family and friends who have lost loved ones in road traffic collisions and it is a very poignant event.
