Great Brit­ton opens up school Christ­mas fayre

TV pre­sen­ter and past stu­dent Fern Brit­ton opened a gram­mar school's Christ­mas fayre.

She was the guest of hon­our at Dr Chal­loner's High School fes­tive event.

The Lit­tle Chal­font school held its Christ­mas fayre on Sun­day, Novem­ber 22.

Head teacher Alan Roe said: “Our in­au­gu­ral Christ­mas fayre was a huge suc­cess and show­cased the strength of our school com­mu­nity. “It was on a grand scale and the num­ber of peo­ple who came to

sup­port it was be­yond any­one's hopes.

“The event was made even more spe­cial by our guest of hon­our and alumna, Fern Brit­ton, who opened pro­ceed­ings with an amus­ing and up­lift­ing speech from the stage.

“Thank you to ev­ery­one who sup­ported our first Christ­mas fayre and in par­tic­u­lar to our spon­sors, Lo­cal Direc­tory and Sav­ills Amer­sham, and the amaz­ing team of par­ents who brought their vi­sion to life.”
