Dr Chal­loner's Gram­mar School fayre. Fam­i­lies will be able to enjoy a va­ri­ety of ac­tiv­i­ties, the Sports Zone will have ev­ery­thing from Beat the Goalie to Space Hop­per Rac­ing. To tickle your taste­buds, there will be a sausage siz­zle, home made curry, Krispy Kreme donuts and mulled wine, which you can enjoy while lis­ten­ing to the school mu­si­cians.

Amer­sham Band's Christ­mas con­cert at Amer­sham Free Church fea­tur­ing the Main Band, Amer­sham Com­mu­nity Brass and our new Brass Roots group.

St John's Ad­vent Fair at Me­mo­rial Hall, Two Dells Lane. Stalls, tombola, raf­fle, cakes, home­made jams and tea and cof­fee.

See­leys House, Camp­bell Drive, Friends of See­leys House Christ­mas Fair. Stalls, food, at­trac­tions and a tombola.

Satur­day, De­cem­ber 5 – 10am to 12pm

United Re­formed Church, Ayles­bury End. Christ­mas Fair with hHome made cakes, Christ­mas gifts, toys and other items all on sale, as well as re­fresh­ments.

Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 9 – 6.30pm to 8pm

Bea­cons­field New Town, Bea­cons­field Fes­ti­val of Lights. Roads in the New Town will be closed so stalls, ac­tiv­i­ties, live mu­sic and a visit from Fa­ther Christ­mas can take place. There will also be late night shop­ping and a lantern pa­rade from schools in the town.


Satur­day Novem­ber 28 – 5.50pm on­wards

Vil­lage Green, High Street. An­nual Christ­mas tree lights switch-on. Chil­dren will walk from the vil­lage school at 5.50pm, be­fore be­gin­ning carol singing at 6pm. This will be fol­lowed by a count­down to switch­ing on the Christ­mas tree lights. At 6.30pm Santa will ar­rive with gifts for the all of the chil­dren. There will be food and drink, stalls, vil­lage groups and char­i­ties and a merry-go-round.


Fri­day, De­cem­ber 4 – 6pm to 8.30pm

Mar­ket Place, High Street and Church Lane Chal­font St Peter Christ­mas Fun Night Chil­dren's carol singing will com­mence at 6pm with per­for­mances from Lovel End, Thorpe, Robertswood, St Joseph's and the Com­mu­nity Col­lege. There will be late night shop­ping, a fun fair, stalls and other at­trac­tions.

Satur­day, Novem­ber 28 – 10am un­til 1pm

St Joseph's School, Priory Road. The PTA are run­ning a Christ­mas fair for the very first time. There will be a Santa's Grotto, tombola, food and drinks.

Satur­day, Novem­ber 28 – 10am un­til noon

Christ­mas Fair at The Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, Gravel Hill. Ad­mis­sion is free, re­fresh­ments are avail­able. Ta­bles are now avail­able, and they cost £15 each or £12 for char­i­ties and non-profit groups.

CHAR­TRIDGE Satur­day, Novem­ber 28 – 11am to 3pm

Char­tridge School is hold­ing its Christ­mas Bazaar with a host of ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing don­key rides, owls, mulled wine, a per­for­mance from the school choir, face paint­ing, fes­tive treats, tombola, chil­dren's games, stalls, com­pe­ti­tions, sleigh rides, the chance to meet Fa­ther Christ­mas and more.

Christ­mas in Che­sham. Christ­mas lights switched on at 6pm in High Street. Stalls, mulled wine, mince pies, carol singing, fair­ground rides and late night shop­ping.

Chrsit­mas fair at Elmtree School, Elm Tree Hill. Stalls, tombola, bouncy cas­tle, lucky dip, tat­too, nail and face paint­ing, story cor­ner, crafts and messy play, games, toy sale and hot food and drink.

Satur­day, De­cem­ber 5 – 4pm to 6pm

King's Church, 188 Sev­er­alls Av­enue. Hand­made crafts, Ugan­dan crafts, home­made cakes and bakes, Fair­trade gifts and good­ies and hand­made jew­ellery and cards. Re­fresh­ments are avail­able and ev­ery­thing is sold in aid of HealthTree Uganda.

CHOLES­BURY Fri­day, Novem­ber 27 – 6pm to 9pm and Satur­day, Novem­ber 28 – 10am to 1pm Choles­bury Vil­lage Hall, St Mary's Church Christ­mas Gift Fair. A wide range of whole­sale gifts will be on sale and tal­ented lo­cal crafts­peo­ple have stall sell­ing hand­made jew­ellery, ce­ram­ics, paint­ings and felt­ing. On Fri­day evening, a glass of mulled wine awaits guests, plus free cof­fee or tea on Satur­day along with a great ar­ray of home­made treats. A ham­per, Christ­mas tree and moose can also be won at the event. En­trance is £1 for adults, 50p for chil­dren and lit­tle ones go free. All in aid of St Mary's Church, Hawridge.

Satur­day, De­cem­ber 5 – 5pm Spirit of Christ­mas in Che­quers Pa­rade, Wy­combe Road. Tree lights switch on and fire­work dis­play. Shops open with fes­tive fair for a do­na­tion to char­i­ties – Thomas Ball Chil­dren's Can­cer Fund, The Chiltern MS Cen­tre and Saun­der­ton Lodge refuge.
