Knife­point rob­bery

A MAN was robbed af­ter be­ing threat­ened at knife point by a gang in a Che­sham al­ley­way.

The vic­tim, a 61-year-old man from Lon­don, was walk­ing along The Backs’ al­ley­way, which runs all the way from the Water­side to the train sta­tion, when he was robbed be­tween 5.45pm and 5.50pm on Satur­day, Jan­uary 2.

He was ap­proached by five white men, one of whom, had a black­han­dled knife, and was told to empty out his pock­ets. Cash and a bank card was stolen.

The main of­fender is de­scribed as white, be­tween 6ft 2ins and 6ft 3ins tall, of av­er­age build with scruffy fa­cial stub­ble.

He wore dark cloth­ing with a hood and spoke with an English ac­cent.
