Yogurt wins top of the pots contest

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - BUSINESS -

A YOGURT made on a Chalfont St Peter farm has won ‘hands down’ in a national competition.

Tims Dairy’s Bio-Live Greek style natural yogurt 500g was voted top choice in a Jamie Oliver magazine ‘top of the pots’ taste test.

Of the three natural yogurts eventually shortlisted, it won for its pleasant tanginess, its silky, creamy texture and was considered to have the perfect balance for a natural yogurt.

It was also deemed to be good value.

Free from artificial colours and flavours, it is made with live cultures and all natural ingredients, using fresh British milk and cream in full support of UK farmers.

Tims Dairy has been making premium quality yogurt for more than 65 years and has a strong Greek family heritage.

The results of the test appear in the January 2016 edition of the magazine.

Jamie is a monthly national title with a readership of 320,000 and is the destination for the latest trends in the world of food, drink and travel.

Tims managing director Chris Timotheou said: “What an exciting start to 2016 – this will inspire the whole team at the dairy.

“We are so thrilled to be ‘top of the pots’.”
