Peanuts in­spire prize-win­ning ken­nel de­sign

CHIL­DREN used their cre­ative side when they took part in a de­sign com­pe­ti­tion.

Hamp­tons, an es­tate agents in Sy­camore Road, Amer­sham, reg­u­larly runs com­pe­ti­tions with St Mary’s CofE School in School Lane, Old Amer­sham.

It also spon­sors the school foot­ball team with its kit.

The lat­est com­pe­ti­tion was for the school’s year five pupils to de­sign a ken­nel for Snoopy, to tie in with the new film The Peanuts Movie.

Si­enna McLean, nine, won with her clever de­sign and sewing of a bed for Snoopy to lie on.

Si­enna said: “It was re­ally ex­cit­ing to win this com­pe­ti­tion as I never nor­mally win any­thing. I was given a bag with fun things in it like an um­brella and two Snoopy dogs.”
