Excitement to bubble over with hospice foam fun day
Fundraising event proving to be popular with places selling out fast
The Hospice of St Francis’s Bubble Rush, sponsored by Hiller Hopkins LLP, will take place on Sunday, April 17.
Places are selling out fast for this brand new event, the only bubble event of its type in Bucks and Herts, taking place at Gadebridge Park, in Hemel Hempstead.
Recruit family and friends and run, walk or dance your way through ‘bubble stations’ as you are blasted by cannons blowing out crazycoloured bubbles, covering you in safe, frothy foam.
There are no age restrictions and the 5km route is suitable for everyone.
A street slide will greet ‘bubblers’ at the finale and there will also be live entertainment, children’s rides and refreshments in the Bubbling Bubble Village.
Hospice of St Francis’ events manager Fran Martin said: ‘We’re bubbling with excitement about our Bubble Rush which is bubbles ahead of any other fun run!
“It’s an exciting, funfilled event, suitable for all ages and abilities, from individuals and families with small and large children to teams, friends and keen runners.
“It’s also the only event of its type in Herts, Beds and Bucks so it’s perfect for anyone looking for a bubbly new way to spend a Sunday.”
Registration costs £7.50 for under 16s, £25 for over 16s and under 3s go free.
Entry includes an exclusive Bubble Rush T-shirt and shiny Bubbler’s medal. T-shirts are not included for under 3s.
Participants are asked to raise what they can in sponsorship to help The Hospice of St Francis care for people living with lifelimiting illnesses in Herts and Bucks.
