Head coach Neil Spittle said: “I have been really pleased with how hard the team has worked to get to this stage of the tournament. There is still room for improvement too, with many of the team massively benefiting from the tough games we’ve had so far, and starting to show the potential to go a long way.

“Nick Nicolaou has shown excellent leadership skills too in ensuring the team are focused and committed to training.”

Head teacher Annmarie McNaney added: “It was a great match to watch and the boys involved should be very proud of their achievements. I wish them all luck in the next round. I am enormously proud of what they have achieved and the way they represent their school with a great deal of pride.”
