Rain causes more havoc

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - SPORT -

HEAVY overnight rain caused yet more disruption to the Chesham Sunday League programme this week, with just two fixtures surviving the elements.

Fortunately one of them was the one which our photographer attended – Eldorado’s trip to Old Belmont Pugilists in Division One.

The game finished all square, with Kieron Webb netting for Prestwood side Eldorado. Harry Edwards ensured a share of the spoils for title challengers Belmont.

The only other game to survive was an Allan Moore Cup group match between Pioneer Athletic (Black Cat).

And it was Pioneer who triumphed, continuing their high scoring streak thanks to braces from Andy Viney and Andy Winton, plus further strikes from JP Jamil and Wildraine, while Jack Collins struck a consolation for Chesham.
