United re­serves ‘stay­ing un­der radar’ de­spite pro­mo­tion bid

“We’re just go­ing to stay un­der the radar and keep push­ing.

“We’ve got a tough week com­ing up though, host­ing Buckingham Ath­letic, who are un­beaten in eight games, on Satur­day, and then Edg­ware on Tues­day. Those will be tough tests.”

Ash­ley Mor­ri­son net­ted twice in the win over Lon­don Tigers, while Che Kin To bagged the other goal.

In the Premier Divi­sion, Holmer Green slipped down to sixth af­ter go­ing down to a shock 5-1 de­feat at Tring Ath­letic on Satur­day, Dean Powles net­ting their con­so­la­tion. They host Big­gleswade United this Satur­day.

In Divi­sion Two, Amer­sham Town were not in ac­tion this week and have an­other blank week­end, but re­turn to ac­tion at un­beaten Kent Ath­letic on Tues­day night.
