A FOOTBALL mad youngster from Bucks got the chance to see his Manchester City heroes in action for the first time when he won a contest.

Harry Breen, nine, of Bourne End, was given the VIP treatment on Sunday February 14 when he went to the Etihad Stadium to watch his team lose 2-1 against Tottenham Hotspur.

Harry was given the chance to high five the players as they entered the stadium and he was later given a tour.

He also met the team mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam and had the chance to stand at the side of the pitch and watch the teams warms up.

Harry said: “This has been a day I’ll never forget. The stadium and academy are so cool.

“The best bit was seeing all the players, in particular Sergio Aguero, who I high fived, and Fabian Delph. I also met Mike Summerbee.

“I even got to go on the pitch with Moonchester.”

His mum Yvonne Breen, who went along with Harry, said: “Manchester City gave Harry the best day of his life, he loved it.

“Pity they didn’t win, but I don’t think it spoilt it for him.”
