Dozens learn about impact of Local Plan on their lives
New houses earmarked for the town are discussed with councillors answering questions

“Roads, traffic and pollution raised the most concern.
“There was also a lot of discussion about preservation of the green belt. Large areas of new housing were a major concern and even building along the perimeter was a concern. Infill and use of brownfield sites was much preferred. Simple instructions will be given about how to respond to the plan, either online or by post, to ensure your views are taken note of.”
Another meeting on the Local Plan was jointly organised by the Chesham Society and Chesham Town Council and took place at Chesham Town Hall on Thursday February 25. The consultation runs until 5pm on Monday March 14.
