Museum’s 25 years
AMERSHAM Museum will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this month, and is encouraging people to go along and see what it has to offer.
The museum re-opened for the new season on March 3, and will be holding a special exhibition telling how the museum has developed over the years.
The exhibition will include detailed photographs about the restoration of the museum’s medieval hall house, and a special display showcasing the history of Amersham in 25 objects. There will also be interactive activities including feely bags which will allow people to guess the object, and visitors can choose to vote for an object that represents life in Amersham today.
For 2016, the museum will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.
Normal opening hours are 2pm to 4.30pm, with Saturdays 10am to 4.30pm, and free entry for under 16s. Adult admission is held at the 2015 rate of £2.50
