Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - BUSINESS NEWS -

Leader programme manager Mike Furness recently attended The Buckinghamshire Community Funding Fair, which took place at The Gateway Conference Centre in Aylesbury, in order to meet attendees and help them find out more about the grant options available to them through the Leader programmes.

Organised by Buckinghamshire Funding Group, the event was a great opportunity for organisations in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to speak to funders and other voluntary sector support organisations, to find out what support is available to them and network with other charities and community groups from across the county.

Mr Furness said: “It was great meeting business owners face-to-face and discussing how we can help them to realise their projects. We will continue to work with local businesses to support their growth so we want to encourage organisations to get in touch to find out more about our programme and how it can benefit them.”

It is focused on rural areas supporting; small rural companies, farm diversification projects, forestry projects, tourism projects, rural services and cultural and heritage projects.
