Book sign­ings are avail­able at Satur­day’s event.

A free copy of a pre­vi­ous book Che­sham at Work in the 20th Cen­tury is be­ing of­fered with ev­ery new book pur­chased.

Mr Hawkes added: “Come and en­joy tea, coffee and bis­cuits, and have a look around the mu­seum.

“It’s a great chance to ask ques­tions and dis­cuss lo­cal his­tory.”

Old pho­to­graphs will be on dis­play and for sale and a per­cent­age of all sales goes to Che­sham Mu­seum.
